2 Inch Mini Crank

• Works as either a floater or a sinker using urethane casting resin with or without microspheres. 
• If using microspheres it is also recommended to use a resin with a longer pot life to facilitate pouring the thicker material. 
• I found this crank works best with a small ballast weight near the bottom of the belly.  
• I offer an OPTIONAL basic wire form guide or you can choose your own method of making the wire form to go in the mold before casting.
• The wire slots are sized at about 0.041 to use inexpensive stainless safety wire, but in areas where that is not available you can use other appropriately sized wire that you can form to fit.  1mm wire has been used with success by some mold owners. 
• This is designed to work with the Lure Parts Online (tm) 4053 7/8 by 3/8 Small Lure Lips.  
• Worked best for me with about 1/8 oz of ballast near the bottom of the belly.  You can make a wire form with a hanging tag end to slip or crimp a weight onto, or use some other method.  
• YOU REALLY ONLY NEED ONE (1) WIRE BENDING GUIDE.  If ordering multiple molds you can add them to the cart seperately to only get one guide.

Urethane (and other resins) stick strongly to aluminum.
YOU MUST USE A SUITABLE MOLD RELASE ON ALL SURFACES WHEN CASTING HARD RESINS IN ALUMINUM MOLDS.  
(I suggest a light coating on all the surface of the mold inside and outside so the ooze out and over flow mistakes do not stick permanently.)
